Back…and better than ever!

Hellooooo!

How the heck are ‘ya, my good friend!? We’ve got some catching up to do. 1st things 1st: yes, I am back to writing my blog and glad to be back. I’ve enjoyed taking the summer “off” from the blog and from social media for most of the summer. A good re-set.😊

It has been an exciting, tiring, restful, humbling, emotional last 100 or so days. As you know, I stopped working with clients on May 15th, then sold my practice on August 3rd. My last day being a licensed insurance agent and being a Mass Mutual advisor was last Monday, August 31st. Between then and now I’ve gone to Europe and Canada. Spent time with family, had a retirement party back in WV, ridden in the “Tour de Donut”, and a few other times. No, I haven’t slowed down.

The question is: what’s next? I keep getting asked the same question from folks: “how does it FEEL to be retired?” My answer is; I DON’T KNOW. Honestly. It has been totally weird not having company email, losing some of my contacts and not having access to company and client information. Really, really weird. As for what’s next, I just have one, constant prayer: “lord. My mind and my heart are open and willing. Use me to help others and to your glory.” That’s it. Now, what that loos like? No clue. Well, maybe some clue. I’ll continue my volunteer work at Nationwide Childrens Hospital. I’ll continue my Thursday morning bible study group. I’ve got a group of guys I meet with every couple couple of weeks for coffee and i am hoping to be some more involved in campus ministry, through our church, at OSU. Oh, and i may take guitar lessons. Just imagine it! LOL!

So, there’s a brief update. Oh, I have a favor: as I mentioned, when Mass Mutual cut off access I lost a few contacts. So, do me a favor and send me your contact info so I can update things on my end. Oh, and don’t be a stranger. Give me a call. I’d LOVE to hear from you.❤️

Be well my freinds,

Jeff
