Will you be my valentine? Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday. Candy, cards, date night. No flowers, or roses here. Joyce told me long ago not to waste the money…they’re Going to die soon anyway. Ok. No problem! lol!
Question: why not make every day Valentine’s Day? I think we should. We SHOULD be telling people that we love them. And mean it. Genuinely mean it. I encourage you: let those close to you know they are important to you. How much you LOVE them. 😍
I recently asked the question on FaceBook: “Is it too early to begin planning a trip, for NEXT YEAR, to Europe?” I say, NO! I love trip planning. I love looking at different cities, things to do there, places to stay and, in the case of European travel, the best way, and the route to take, to get from city to city, is fun! In this case, it makes PERFECT sense to begin planning a trip that won’t take place for another 15 months or so. My way of thinking is: why wouldn’t you start now?! Ha ha!
The comeback. As many of you know, I had knee replacement surgery, on my left knee, back in November, the day before Thanksgiving. I’m now a little over 10 weeks post-op and rehab and physical therapy are going well. I am thrilled to be riding my Peleton practically every day. I am walking Sheldon every day, usually a god 1.5 mile walk. Yesterday, at my physical therapy session, I was able to practice swing a golf club. NOW we’re talking. Spring is right around the corner! Seriously, I am totally committed to making this the year of the comeback, for my health. I want my healthy body back, or as much as a 60 year old guy get. Alas, the “comeback.”
Lastly, I am so excited that in the next couple of weeks I will begin to start driving longer distances and coming back down to the valley and Charleston area. I can’t wait to see you. I’ve missed you these past 3 months. Yes, can you believe it? It’s been almost 3 months since we had a cup of coffee together. Again, the comeback. See you soon!
Be well,
Jeff
