Happy March everyone! Yesterday morning it was so nice turning the calendar page from February to March. Springing forward. Additional daylight. Spring!

All of this sounded, and felt, great…until this morning. By 10am we had a fresh 2-3” of snow. Roads are a mess and it’s cold. Can it please just end?! lol!

Over the weekend I was going through all of the photos on both my phone and on my FaceBook account. I was specifically looking for old pictures of my with clients and old friends over the past many years. As I scrolled through these photos, many thoughts and emotions flooded in. Smiles, tears, laughter…all of the “feels”. Looking back in time, those pictures tell so many stories. Not just my story, but the stories of so many families, generations, small businesses. I never anticipated, 38 years ago, being a part of the life of so many families. What a blessing.

All of this got me thinking about the future. What does the future hold for me, as a retired guy? Well, my thought is this: I get to create new pictures. New stories. New chapters for this life. Don’t know what they will be or where they will take me, but my constant prayer has been that God, I am open to whatever you have in store for me. I am willing to go where you have me go.

I can’t wait to see what THIS picture looks like. It’s going to be beautiful!
