I love you. Really. I LOVE you.❤️
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Time for chocolates, over-priced roses and ‘I love you’s”. According to Wikipedia(knower of all things), Valentine’s Day began as a feast day, for Christian’s, honoring on martyr named Valentine, or St. Valentine. Of course, through the centuries, it has become commercialized and is now a time for celebrating love and romance. Oh, and those over-priced, very expensive roses. Thankfully, Joyce told me long ago NOT to waste money on roses. Overpriced and ‘they’ll just die.” Hey, no complaints here!
For me, being a believer, real love is that of my savior, Jesus Christ. No flowers, no candies or chocolates, no sweet nothings whispered in your ear, just a promise. A promise of eternal life. A promise to always love you. Now that’s a valentine!
I do hope your valentine does get you chocolate, a nice dinner, even flowers. Whatever says “love” to you. Please remember to love each other. Be kind. Serve others. Oh, and don’t be afraid to tell someone that you love them.
Happy Valentine’s Day(early!),
Be well,
Jeff
